Vanta is a handheld X-Ray Fluorescence device used by miners and scrap metal recyclers to identify alloys. It is also used in refineries to analyze and test critical parts such as piping, pumps and valves in order to prevent catastrophic failure. Vanta fires X-rays into a metal sample which causes certain molecules in it to fluoresce, thereby identifying the material in less than 2 seconds. We designed this unit to withstand very harsh industrial environments. It is the only XRF device that is IP65 rated for protection against dust and water, and it’s drop tested to military standards. Every aspect of the design focuses on ease of use including the intuitive user interface, comfortable weight distribution and ease of transport.
