FightCamp unveils their all-new, Whipsaw-designed, experience for at-home boxing workouts. The FightCamp console and trackers represent a significant leap forward, transitioning from an iOS-only mobile application and two BLE trackers to a versatile, device-agnostic console and up to four trackers.
In collaboration with the FightCamp product team, Whipsaw embarked on a comprehensive journey to redefine the at-home boxing workout experience. This project began with an in-depth qualitative research phase, which engaged a diverse group of users, including those who regularly do home workouts, legacy system users, and boxing gym goers. We wanted to uncover opportunities for enhancing the system and meeting the evolving needs of boxing workout enthusiasts.
From this research, we developed several innovative concepts, which were then rigorously validated through qualitative studies and a large-scale quantitative survey of approximately 10,000 users. We identified a preferred path that guided the refinement and ultimate development of the new FightCamp console and trackers.
The final product is a testament to thoughtful user-centered design. The new FightCamp console is elegantly designed to blend seamlessly into a variety of living room or home gym environments. Its sleek, modern aesthetic ensures it is both a functional and a stylish addition to any home.
The redesigned BLE punch trackers are a significant improvement over their predecessors. With a smooth and dense form factor, they are designed to easily slide into the prewrap FightCamp gloves, which are worn before the padded boxing gloves. This enhances usability and ensures a more comfortable workout experience.
